We know this is a big decision. We’re here to answer any questions and be a resource for you. You’ll see how hard we work to dig up your options, design your policy, explain it thoroughly and make the entire conversion process easy.
What you can expect
Depending on the company and product you’d like to convert – it might take us 2 minutes or it might take us a week to get your conversion options and provide you with quotes.
Some companies make it easy, some have some hoops to jump through. We’ll jump through those hoops on your behalf.
After we present you with your options and the illustrations (rates), If you want to move forward, it will take 2-3 weeks to process the paperwork.
Step 1: You sign an “Agent of Record” change form on your policy to allow us to process your conversion. All we’ll need is your signature on the form we’ll draft up for you. This takes 1-2 weeks for the life insurance company to process.
Step 2: Once we’re the agent of record, we’ll submit your conversion documents to the company which typically takes 1 week for the company to process.
